Time will never stop nor the days, weeks, months or the years. It will fly at its own pace with out waiting for any body. There is no end or beginning! December 31st is yet another day with out any crux underneath! Yet we want to confine ourselves in time or rather associated with time in a different way!

The year 2011 was fabulous in terms of work, joy rides, outings, resolutions etc etc. As protons always attracts electrons, there were some downs too, but mainly they are insignificant at this point of time/life. May be they are the slow burners, who knows!?

Enjoyed the work life with very less monotonous activity, new challenges, new projects, diversified work unlike the previous years. The fate was kind enough to make me work very hard for the entire year, which i liked anyway. I hate sitting idle in office!

Engaged with my love, Ritz, in January for an awesome drive, gorgeous curves, adventurous enjoyments. She accompanied me for a few solo drives, adhoc planned trips. She was simply awesome ...

When an idea transforms into a reality, the joyous moment could be cherished always! Our newly constructed home (in my home town) is about to celebrate her first birthday in January.

New hopes for the "END" vanished eventually and hope will continue for the year after ..

The Year was very remarkable in terms of treks & trips. The first trip was to Kokkarebellur & Shivanasamudra falls. It was the first long drive with my Ritz through the bumpy roads. Though the road was pathetic, had an awesome drive through the scenic narrow road along the agricultural farm land from Bellur to KM Doddi.

A long time dream (from my child hood) of experiencing the underwater life could be achieved. Diving into the sea below 30 feet, experiencing the colourful marine life, swimming in the sea where the depth was around 300 feet, snorkeling, boating into the deep sea for about 20 km was the perfect combo of the best activities i had ever witnessed on a trip. Thanks to Netrani island for the shallow water sea shore which allows for the SCUBA activity.

I was always fantasising the rainy trek for a few years till it realised it in June. Bloody trek to Brahmagiri peak, with 12 people paying the toll of 0.5 litre of blood each to leeches. It was one of the best trek of the year, amazing scenery of the western ghats soaked in rain & mist.

Visit to Devarayana Durga, Namada Chilume, and then trekking to Madhugiri peak, the highest monolith rock of Asia, and second largest in the world was really exhausting. Yet, we scaled the peak in just 2 hours. Kudos ...

I can not believe i had summit ed the Stok Kangri in Himalaya's scaling up to 20100 feet above mean sea level (MSL). The height was almost equal to the Everest Base Camp-2. I was really standing at the top of the world on July 22nd at 7-50 am, to be precise. Huh.. It was my life time achievement to be part of the expedition group. The 15 days in Ladakh was heavenly. New friends, people, nature, snow, ice, cold, chill, tiredness, snow sliding, grasslands, ...

Campus recruitment, that too in Goa was a unexpected surprise. Good experience to meet the people of BITS, Goa, later followed by the good time at the beach side with foot ball on the shores ..

Then came the most awaited thing, which i was longing to do for many years "Solo Drive". The car was tested on road for a whooping 160 kmph. Overnight stay at Sakaleshpur to enjoy the scenic of the dawn at Hanbal & Charmadi ghat road route was successful to get the best view of my life time!

Trekked to Horse face (Kuduremukha) with my close pal who accompanied me for a couple of other treks earlier. It was a mixture of everything what you can demand for in any trek - deep breaths, fear of spending night in the forest, rain, leeches, view, mist, cold ...

Cave exploration at Siddarabetta after trekking for 1 hour is worth mentioning in the list. It was my second cave exploration in life after exploring the cave at Subrahmanya a couple of years back (20 years). I was amazed to realise such a place very close to Bangalore, yet unknown to most of the people.

Last trip of the year was simply amazing & enjoyed it to the core. Solo drive to Mettur, Small trek for an hawk eye of Mettur, Hogenakal falls (Karnataka side), coracle ride in rain, MM Hills, Ghat road driving, 550 km of driving in just 1.5 day. The best drive of the year 2011 ..
